Why Have a UTA Mentor Network?

The UTA MavMentors Program was designed by the UTA Career Development Center and UTA Alumni Relations to foster meaningful partnerships between employers and alumni mentors and alumni or student mentees that will help mentees better navigate their career path. Mentors are UTA alumni and employers who are passionate about helping students and alumni develop skills for the workplace and expand their professional networks. The program also offers an important opportunity for alumni mentors to engage with the UTA community and experience a rewarding relationship with a mentee who is eager to learn from them.

Program participants will use the online platform to connect; student and alumni mentees will use the database to search for and request alumni mentors.
